The Nevis Disaster Management Facility at Long Point has a new name. The Llewellyn Newton Disaster Management Facility was last Thursday unveiled by the Premier of Nevis Joseph Parry and Mary Ourisman, the United States ambassador to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean.

Canada Caribbean Disaster Risk Management Fund seeks to help communities reduce risk
The Canadian High Commission is pleased to launch a first call for proposals to the Canada Caribbean Disaster Risk Management (CCDRM) Fund which seeks to support small projects that tangibly and practically reduce risk in vulnerable communities.
